Prepositional Phrase in a sentence prepositions show the relation of one word to another word. Prepositions require an object to complete them, typically a noun or pronoun. A preposition and its object is called a Prepositional Phrase.
§ The Prepositional Phrase : If a word in the table below does not have an object, then the word is not functioning as a Prepositional preposition.
A prepositional phrase will begin with a prepositional and end with a noun, pronoun, gerund, or clause, which is called the “object” of Preposition : § The Pattern :

1) The book on the bathroom floor is swollen from shower steam.
- Which book ? The one on the bathroom floor !
2) The note from Baverly confessed that she had eaten
The leftover Pizza
- Which note? The one from Baverly !
