Giving Instructions

*Giving Instructions is an expression that isused in orderthat other person does what we instruct or request.

      *Giving Instructions digunakan untuk menyuruh atau  melakukan apa yang kita instruksi atau permintaan sendiri.

The tense in giving instruction is 'Simple Present Tense'. 

1) We used verbs as commanding word in the from of infinitive without to (V1).

     Example: Sit down !

                      Cover your food!

                      Eat your meal !

                      Wash your hand!

                      Clean the room!

                      Sweep the floor!

2) We used the word don't + V1

     Example : don't cry

                       don't be a fool

                       don't climb

                       don't touch me

                       don't be a bad boy

                       don't let them in

3) We use be+adjective, or noun, or adverb.

    Example : be happy!

                      be there

                      be on time

                      be your self

                      be carefull !

4) We use the word 'please' at the beginning / at the end of an instruction to make it sounds more polite.

    Example : Please don't do that

                      Sit down, please

                      Open the door, please.
